Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has avoided answering questions over the view that Cristiano Ronaldo will be a key factor in Paul Pogba’s new contract.

The Red Devils are set to visit Young Boys in their Champions League group stage first on Tuesday night.  That with a press conference before the game on Monday.

However, the media inquired about the situation regarding the France midfielder’s contract expiring in the middle of next year. It is questioned whether Ronaldo will play an important role in keeping Pogba at the team.

“Now it’s up to us to do it and prove ourselves that we can win the title,” Solskjaer said.

“Everyone who signs for United wants to win trophies and be part of the winning team United, it’s the most wonderful feeling. Let’s see what happens next.”
